Waybook pricing: Core and Pro for 20 members

Waybook sells no free plan. Its help center still describes a Create plan that the pricing page does not sell, so Core is the entry plan.

Monthly or annual billing: what the 17% saving means

The pricing page opens on annual billing, and its toggle reads "Annual · Save 17%". Annual rates appear as a monthly figure. At 20 members, twelve monthly payments of $119 come to $1,428 on Core, against $1,188 on annual billing, which is 12 times $99.

On Pro the same comparison is $2,856 against $2,376. These yearly totals are our arithmetic, since Waybook's page prints a yearly total only above 20 members. At 25 members it prints $1,488 a year for Core and $2,976 for Pro, both on annual billing.

Teams under 20 and each extra member

The seat counter on Waybook's pricing page cannot go below 20, so a team of 10 pays the 20-member price. A member is anyone with a login, readers included, so Waybook counts members rather than learners.

At 25 members the counter shows Core at $149 a month billed monthly or $124 billed annually, and Pro at $298 or $248. For any headcount between the steps in the table, the counter prints the exact total. Above 500 members the page offers a custom plan through a Book Call button, so ask Waybook for a quote at that size.

Fees beyond the plan: setup, pause and migration

Self-Led Implementation is included in the plan price and comes with a kickoff call with your account manager. Guided Implementation is optional and costs $1,500, and Waybook's help center says it includes 10 hours of data migration support, 5 workshops and custom team training.

Waybook's FAQ offers the ability to "pause your subscription and save your data for just $20/month".

Waybook offers 10 free hours of migration help on Pro, but its pricing page ties it to annual plans over 50 seats while its feature page says every Pro plan, so ask support before counting on it. The first size that qualifies is 51 members on Pro billed annually, which the pricing page shows as $508 a month and $6,096 a year.

Who should pay for Pro, and who should look elsewhere

Pay for Pro when you need review dates, approvals, confirmation steps or an audit log, because Core has none of them. Pro also adds Full Version History, recurring due dates, and SSO and Directory Sync. Enhanced Support is a Pro feature.

Look at SweetProcess for a team of up to 10 members: its one plan includes every feature at $99 a month billed monthly, against $119 for Waybook Core on the same basis. Trainual publishes no plan price and sells through a demo, which suits a company that wants a quote. See Waybook vs Trainual and Waybook alternatives.

Because the Terms promise no refund, the 7-day free trial is the place to test Waybook, and Waybook free trial lists what its pages leave open. The full feature list is in the Waybook review.
