Waybook lists Tests & Assessments in every plan, with eight question types and a pass rate you set. Its steps can hold checklists, but a checklist inside a step does not reach Waybook's reports, because progress is saved per device; tests, confirmations and Tasks in a Learning Path, Waybook's ordered set of Documents and Tasks for one role or topic, do.
Waybook Pro is $238 a month billed monthly or $198 billed annually for 20 members. Waybook has no free plan, and a team under 20 pays for the whole 20-member block. The Waybook review covers what each Waybook plan includes.
SweetProcess documents quizzes with a single correct answer per question, and assigned tasks. It is one plan at $99 a month billed monthly or $82.50 billed yearly for up to 10 members, then $5 or $4.17 a month per extra member, with a 14-day trial and no credit card.
Process Street free alternative: Whale, Scribe and Tango
Whale, Scribe and Tango each have a free plan. Whale Free has 1 creator, a limited number of members and 1 quiz; Scale is $399 a month billed monthly or $249 billed yearly with 3 creators and 15 quizzes. Whale's help center adds a 14-day Advance trial.
Scribe Basic generates how-to guides in your browser at no charge. Pro Team is $29 per seat a month billed monthly or $23 billed yearly, from 5 seats. Its plan cards list no quiz or test.
Tango Free has 5 shared workflows, up to 10 users and no credit card. Tango Pro is $30 per user a month billed monthly for 1 to 2 users, or $22 billed annually. From 3 users the Team rate is $20 billed monthly or $15 billed annually per user, and every added Pro user needs a paid seat. Pro lists viewership and completion insights, but its plan cards list no quiz or test.
Approvals and checklists compared
Process Street lists form fields, conditional logic and approvals in its plan features, and its help article describes approvals as tasks inside a workflow run. Waybook's Approval Process is a Pro feature that blocks publishing until every stage signs off. SweetProcess lets managers approve drafts on its one plan, and Whale keeps approval flows on Enterprise. For SweetProcess's price at larger teams, see SweetProcess alternatives; the SOP approval process guide lists the steps to set up approvals.
Which Process Street alternative fits which team
Pick Waybook when 20 or more people must be tested on procedures and tracked in one plan. Pick SweetProcess for 10 or fewer, with every feature at $99 a month billed monthly. Pick Tango for a free start with up to 10 users, Whale for a free plan with 1 creator, and Scribe for free browser-captured guides.
Stay with Process Street when checklist-driven workflows with conditional logic and approvals are the job and a sales call is acceptable.
